Traditional electricity is centralized at a large power plant and sourced from fossil fuels such as coal, natural gas, and Nuclear power in some cases. Renewable energy is abundant, clean, and pure, and when included with onsite CHP systems for baseload power production, the efficiency of such projects can go as high as 80-90% compared to 25-30% for traditional power plants.
